The World Fantasy Convention is on!

Hey, everybody!

Things have been busy here, as you can imagine, between Covid and everything else 2020 has thrown our way. It has also been busy for a slightly better reason as well. David Cherry is proud to announce that he is the Artist Guest of Honor at the World Fantasy Convention! David’s got a lot of exciting panels, from his Sketchbook Tour to talking about Art for Non-Artists, so everyone attending this year – be sure to check it out! His sister, C.J. Cherryh, is a Special Guest there as well, and his daughters – K.J. Riley and Kassandra Cherry – are also making their appearance. K.J. has just finished writing her first book, The Chosen Child: Tales of Ocaia, and I’m going to read a section for her on her panel, so look forward to that when it gets published!

All that being said, original artwork has been added to the Store! All of the art being shown in David’s art show for the convention is now available for sale, so if you ever wanted to own a David Cherry original, now is your chance! And you’re in luck too. Given the high price tag on these paintings, we are offering free shipping for whoever buys them. This is a great opportunity, so don’t miss your chance to get your own original painting.

Speaking of shipping, it has come to our attention that our shopping cart doesn’t take into account the possibility of consolidating prints into a single box for shipping. This means that if you want to buy multiple prints, it calculates shipping with each in their own individual boxes, dramatically inflating the shipping price. While we work on resolving this issue, we invite you to email us directly at pineoakproductions@outlook.com if you wish to buy more than one print. We’ll cooperate with you directly to get you your products at the lowest possible price. We’ve also switched from using FedEX and UPS to using the US Postal Service, so that should help limit shipping calculation costs as well.

So, that’s it for now. Enjoy the convention, everyone, and Happy Halloween!
